The Harbour's
Edge Bed & Breakfast sits on two acres of land at the head of Yarmouth Harbour. The house was built for the Honourable Stayley Brown in 1864. Stayley
was a member of the Provincial Legislature at that time. This beautiful Italianate Style house was rescued from demolition in 1994 when Esther and Gil
Dares bought it and restored
itto its present beauty. When the restoration was
complete, Esther and Gil applied for and were granted a Provincial and Municipal
Heritage Property registration.
