Charles C. Richards and his wife Fannie built their dream house in
1893 and it took 2 years to finish. It is built of brick, with brownstone trimmings on the outside, and the inside is finshed with exotic wood such
as cherry, oak, sycamore and natural spruce. The windows are of stained
glass.
